Is the 5w50 Taglon Toyota oil good?

Hey guys I own the 2014 toyota corolla gli manual has 15000km, I wanted to do an oil change and switch to synthetic oil for a healthier engine.I would like to stick to toyota brand oil so was wondering would it be good for me to switch to the Toyota Taglon or is it too thick I can't get a clear answer.

I don't think toyota has the other grade the only synthetic oil they have is 5w50

5w30 toyota made in japan oil is fully synthetic and costs 4800/4L from dealership. Taglon also won’t do any harm. Used it in my corolla altis 1.8 cvt 2016 for like 20,000kms. It’s a good oil if you change it at every 5000kms.

I also searched alot for my corolla 2015 which is 19k kms driven. Taglon is good, why not try mobil 10w40 it costs the same as taglon. You can try liqui moly 10w40 as well.

Go for Toyota 5w-30

a 30w oil will flash off on motorways in hot climate. Why are your recommending to use 30w when manufacturer has clearly mentioned to use 40w as minimum, on the other hand the 0w doesnt make sense as we dont have -27-35 Centigrade like Europe. Good for constant RPM hybrids, too low an oil pressure and your engine will be ruined

BTW the 5w-50 is a brilliant oil by Toyota and is blended using Mobil as base oil, have been using it in our fleets for 1year + and going very good.

W30 oil flashing off ??
Seriously, you are saying this on what basis?
If the engine is good even 5w-20 will work.
Still 5w-30 or 5w-40 is better to be on safe side.
