Nopes. The figures they claiming are utter crap.
Cvt can’t handle this much torque. If this engine could make more power on stock than oem must have done it for you. Increasing power on stock engine with such things can decrease engine life.
They will only increase low end torque of your car which will make you feel that you got more power, but that also have adverse effects on cvt.

Please go through their reviews again and if it was a failure then it would have not survived for this long, moreover, 80 %of the rally vehicles are installed with Unichip here in Pakistan, which means they have a good track record

When ever oem makes a car,they make the car for global market,so oem cannot optimize the vehicle for every market.

The figures unichip are claiming, to be honest they’re bullocks to me.
Maximum 5bhp increase is possible. More than that? You need modification to increase horsepower and torque upto 20-30. I haven’t seen a unichipped corolla altis 1.8 grande beating honda civic 1.5 turbo stock.
Rally vehicles have serious modifications which need piggyback ecu so that they can change values according to their needs.
Oem specs do not require these kinds of thing.
Fyi: all cars are optimized to the perfection by engineers sitting at company. If unichip was that good than Honda would have called you guys for removal of knocking from their civic 1.5 turbo!

1.5 turbo having more than 172 bhp I think n with unichip almost grande could gain 160 bhp still behind than turbo so no question to beat turbo...
Rather turbo s another technique of engine which give response on every inch of rising rpm not comparable to stock cvt economy 1.8 engine with 140 bhp n torque whatsoever

Direct fuel injection was da problem of knoking in pak in turbo so that was not to be resolved through unichip

Well if they’re claiming such nasty figures than it should beat turbo. 30bhp increase and torque increase figure as big as chuck norris retard school.

I know what a 1.5 turbo is, and I know its specs. They’re gonna ruin cvt of any car if they fit unichip in it and try to increase low end torque. Cvt has its own safe limits.

This Unichip is more like a hoax to me.

I don’t think so, but you can install jammer free trackers instead. I’m using vtrack from 2.5 years. Works fine in presence of jammers, or whenever i’m in basement of some plaza.

Hummmmm but I have seen my cousin who put v8 engine 4.5 in 2000 crown n configured it with unichip type something n saw that modification ruined suspension but great great torque. handling and pick even saw crossing of turbo Honda like cycle by a motorcycle ... Even crossing chain of expensive cars Audi bmw model I could not remember at Ring road lhr ... So u r right that chip kinda thing is better for modified cars...

Yes but keep one thing in mind. Crown isn’t built for v8. Uzfe series already have immense torque. Unichip might have a cent of advantage in its horsepower and torque. I would have chosen some other piggyback ecu instead of unichip for such setup. Suspension was ruined due to weight of such a big engine and its torque.
