Procedure for getting new number plates

Print and fill the attached form

Attach photocopy of

1. CNIC
2. Registration Document

Fees is 800 Rupees.

This process will hardly take 10 minutes in the Excise office as there are dedicated 6 counters for number plates forms

After how many days, the plates will be delivered?
Will they dispatch to address?
Is it mandatory for isb registered 2000 model?

I've heard now they've lifted ban from using old plates, my car has 2006 ICT plate XX-123 should i get new one or this one is fine?

Thanks to Spano for uploading the form for new number plates which saved my time..
Today I went to ETO office H-9 islamabad to apply for new number plates. My car is Khyber with IDK series registered on my sister name.I filled this form and attached i) photocopy of car registration (ii) Photocopy of Last token paid(iii) Photocopy of ID card of my sister. Entering from the gate and then turn right, at the end corner there are dedicated counters for submission of documents for new number plates. I submitted the documents and fee Rs 800. They verified both original ID cards of me and my sister and gave me a slip. it will take 45 days to get new number plates.

1.The initial step is to get application form from the “Information Counter”, which is for Rs.10/-. or if you get print at home. the form is attached in the first post of this thread

2.Fill up the form along with your name and date. If your vehicle registration is with your name, you may skip the verification step. But if your vehicle is not registered with your name, then you have to get it verified by the officer sitting next at right counter.

a). CNIC Photocopy (Bring original for verification)

b). Registration Book Photocopy (Bring original for verification)

1. On completion of step 2, you may directly move to window number 13 and wait for your turn as soon you join the queue. (Token not required)

2. When your turn comes you will asked to pay the new number plate charges of Rs.800/-.

3. Your new number plate will ready to collect in one month.

It is true and confirmed that now fee is Rs 800 for number plates. This is ordered by Ch. Nisar ( Interior Ministor).
