I have vitz 2018
Its Islamabad reg
Previously online veh data was available on excise website but now i cant see the data
Error appears (“no data found contact excise Islamabad “)
What could be the reason ?

is vehicle under your name & cnic. or was it under open letter.
if it is under your cnic / name and you have complete paperwork available, sleep tight.

if it was under open letter, You are in trouble likely chance is the previous owner has blocked the transfer.

Its on my name but lately came to know that gov has imposed a new tax on 1000cc cars registered in 2021and above
If we pay 25000 rupees then our vehicle will be open for the new buyer otherwise dues are not clear lol
This thing wasn’t intimated and was done scilently

sir the advance tax or the withholding tax at 1st time vehicle registration, for 1000 cc filer has to pay 25000 non-filer pay 75000 this slab is applicable since July 01 2019.

The same WHT tax is adjustable in your annual income tax return as filer. read it here

perhaps the agent you engaged for vehicle registration failed to provide you correct information.
