ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court has upheld its stay order regarding supply of gas to CNG stations.
Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui of Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday took up the petition, filed by CNG stations owners.
During the proceedings, the court remarked that CNG licenses were issued on political basis, and now there were complaints of gap between demand and supply.
The court further remarked that it was court?s duty to maintain balance between the government and the people.
Later, the court upheld its previous stay order, ordering gas supply to CNG stations thrice a week, and the hearing was adjourned till Jan 3.
