Islamabad new number registration issues

Assalam O Alaikum guys,
My residency in Lahore but i want to register my new car from Islamabad. Can anyone tell me, is there any issue with isb number in lhr like car resale value or any other issue. Please guide me if you think it's a bad or good idea?

Bro no. Ka as such koi issue nai hai but you might face issues like car documents checking or your ID checking at Naakas, time and again. And it may start feeling painful after sometime.
Resale wise, Islamabad no. Is the best, but Lahore no. B maara nai hai. It comes at 2nd place after Islamabad no.
I would advice you to go for Lahore no. If your residence is in Lahore. Rest, the choice is yours.

Token Tax is a big issue of Islamabad registered cars of non-islamabad residents. First of all, there is no life time token for 1000cc or less cars in islamabad. Secondly, the token tax can only be paid in islamabad and that too, at specific post offices. This is why islamabad registered cars hold a bit less value in lahore. Besides, I dont think Lahore number has any less value than Islamabad registration.

Islamabad nhmber is the best resale wise in all over pakistan...about getting itislamabad registered you needan agent who will get it done not at issue at all....btw never faced issue at nakaas due to islamabad number infact i have been travelling all over pakistan and literally never been stopped anywhere apart from ravi toll plaza checkpost and that too was due to non orignal plate....btw still using the same plate islamabad number plates can also survive excise checkposts which are for non computerized plates
