Islamabad to Karachi Motorway Night Stay?

We are a family with 3 kids (Below 12 year old) and planning trip from Islamabad to Karachi via M2-M4-M5-N5
Can you please recommend the following
1) Are they any REST areas on motorway where can stay with Family over night or sleep for some hours? instead of exiting the Motorway ?
2) What will be the best route and stop overs along the way ?
3) Recommendation of hotels and rest places along the motorway or nearby cities?

ISB Karachi you can comfortably travel in single go start at 6 am from ISB to reach Karachi by 8 pm. via motorway.

you can start late & stop over at multan for over night, start from multan after breakfast early morning around 11 and reach karachi by sunset 6 pm or so.

over night layover motel accomodation are not worthy neither safe.

There are no motels or hotel enroute. You will have to take a break in any big city on way. As suggested above Multan can be a good place to stop overnight. You can check hotels on www.booking.com

If really necessary It is suggested to break journey in Sukkur and start early next morning to cover the remaing leg.

The whole journey is merely of 12 to 14 hours at comfortable speeds so as indicated earlier no need to have such a long break. You can adjust the departure time in Islamabad so that you touch N5 at daybreak to acomodate the traffic overheads of N5.

Similar approach is suggested on the route back.

there is hotel built at service area of Multan and i have used it couple of time with family.. it was quite good, neat, clean and very convenient for overnight stay during travelling.. there is no other option at motorway for overnight stay or you will need to exit and find a hotel in city which takes quite lot of time, or other option could be you drive full day and reach Sukkur and stay in Sukkur..

I have seen a motel near at Multan sukkur motorway which offers rooms to stay, but never experienced. From the outlook seemed a nice place for a stopover.
