Issue after fuel pump change

My fuel pump was giving issues with fuel suppy .
Mechanic told me to change it.Fuel supply is alright now but now car takes time to strart from the time i put the key in the ignition.
What could be the reason

Check the FPF valve O rings and the fuel pressure main o Ring in the fuel pump assembly
