Isuzu MU-X SUV in Pakistan

Hi There!

I didnt get any info about Isuzu MU-X in any forum in Pakistan hence started this topic. For those who dont know about it, MU-X is Isuzu SUV of a toyota fortuner size. Just like Toyota Hilux and Fortuner, Isuzu has D-Max and MU-X.
Isuzu has not yet launched DMax Vcross in india and planning to launch Vcross and MU-X togather very soon. More over Isuzu is launcing MU-X New Model 2021 in Thailand on 28th October 2020. So is GIL Pakistan is also planning to launce MU-X or it will be late or no plan. Secondly, if launched, will MU-X give tough time to Fortuner?

Currently, there are no plans to launch MUX in PK.
GIL has recently launched the Facelift of DMAX a few months back, while the FMC was introduced in Thailand at the beginning of the year.

DMAX is not selling well, so there is no reason for launching anytime soon.

Isuzu MU-X seems to be much more than fortuner.. At least I will be the 1st one to book one for my personal use.. It has added advantages over fortuner... foremost, it’s Thailand assembled which I presume must be much better in quality than Pakistani assemblied fortuner.. MU-X’s back seats are proper seats unlike that of fortuner.. Fuel economy of MUX as revealed by Thailandi users is much better than even 4Sigma diesel version of fortuner... whereas petrol version of fortuner is altogether unaffordable that too with very poor acceleration-pick.. If someone wants to gauge the acceptability of MU-X in Pakistan then let Isuzu motors just have it advertised it’s launch and solicit requests for booking.. I am sure, fortuner is going to face a serious setback in just within 3-months of MU-X’s run on Pakistani roads...
