Salam fellow PW's, Bought Honda Vezel Hybrid few days back. Landing in lahore in January InshAllah . Upgraded from 9th gen civic. Obviously, had to do a lot a of survey and research before finally being convinced that it was the best option to go for in 3-3.5 Million range category . Pics are from the auction house. Thank you ... Well, yes at the moment i havent seen one on Lahore roads but my hunch tells me its just a matter of time .. come second quarter 2015, situation might be different .... and Vezel is being launched as HR-V in Europe and states in 2015 ... Even if it were right now, for Honda i would ve def preferred JDM Honda ...

Thanx .. well, not really a lexus rival as lexus is a sedan and this is compact SUV ... Compact SUV s are a relatively latest breed in automotive engineering designs and are expected to flourish in the coming years as an affordable family SUV ...

OP congrats on your new vehicle. Drive safe & Smart.

It's not categorized as SUV rather a crossover in NA market. Crossover for the fact it uses two platforms. Like Vezel is a crossover built on Honda FIT/ Jazz platform but takes design clues of CRV. Size and space wise vezel is smaller than CRV but larger than FIT/ Jazz. Also the ride height is more which make it look like a SUV. Nissan Joke I mean Juke as well as the new Mazda CX3 all compete in this segment.

If you go on higher end models Audi Q3, Mercedes GLA are cross overs on A3 sedan and CLA sedan platforms respectively.

As far as CT200. It's a hatchback and it shares it's engine and platform somewhat or almost with Prius.

So lets start with magic seats .. honda first introduced these in Fit hybrid and Vezel follows suite ... Amazing leg space and magic seats versatility were one of the primary factors that attracted me as comfortable family long drives are something always worth considering ...

Thankx and absolutely spot on with the exact designing details ... yes, i considered its price range competitors in Mazda and Juke but this simply stood out as the best option in my opinion ... And if one can go higher, i would also add one more recommendation to Audi and Merc you mentioned, Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV ... Cheers bro
