1.3 l trans oil is just a fluke. When my Trans got hot and I drained the fluid through the bottom bolt along with the filter almost 1.7 L came out, if it is to be replenished with 1.3 L how come 1.7 liters came out as it was a 0 meter and never touched by anyone ?

Brothers its all guessing work, which is keeping these vehicles in motion. DCT is total failure as far as Vezels and Fits are considered otherwise they would not have recalled them.

initially I had purchased a 2014 vezel which had been recalled 4 times in Japan still its Gear showed problems, I sold it for the reason but unfortunately purchased this 2017 o meter which has now shown hot Trans twice just after 55k mileage.

Both of my 2014 & 2017 vezels smells when I accelerate them to 160 kph,I think it burns the trans or clutch oil and thats why its gear becomes hot after robust driving down the line.

Khattak sahib, please don't be so dismissive of others' opinions. Nobody is forcing you to do any maintenance work. Please keep going as you have been doing except that you will end up with more problems. Similarly, I drive a Vezel without any worries because I do maintenance as per the schedule and quantities mentioned above. I do it of my own free will without anyone holding a gun to my head. The day I feel that Vezel is a total failure, I shall get rid of the car and switch to some other car without wasting anyone's time on such forums.

Actually I am not pointing to anyone specifically, rather I am taking it generally that JDMs have such problems. My sarcasm is for VEZEL specific not all JDMs, and not any of the Pakistani user like myself. I have been using JDMs since long and have been their strong advocate until I bought Vezel which has Dual Clutch Transmission (the mother of all evil ).

Despite all of the above writings going on nobody has come up with the exact quantity of Clutch Fluid as well as Trans oil drained through bottom bolt. NO proper way of changing both the fluids.

Find the pdf file of honda on how to change its gear oil. It will help you a lot. Even toyota dealerships in Pakistan don't know how to correct fluid level in grande cvt, and this is dual clutch transmission we are talking about.

Hey man, I'm on your side. 2015 Vezel Z RU3 110K Driven still going strong! Only once transmission overheated in summer 36°C and I changed actuator fluid as Hasham Bhai has mentioned above, it's supposed to cool transmission. After changing that and driving the car in same conditions no problems at all. Vezel is reliable.

Seems like good news for Vezel;
There is a new recall / update for TDU/ECU effective 26th July 2019.

I presume this should sort out the dual clutch issues, which was mostly due to programming rather than being mechanical. Photoshot attached.

I will talk to Honda 3S and see whats their take on this.

They have all the equipment, just need the software which they can get from Honda Japan.

You need to remove the air filter setup and under that is the dct fluid bottle. The oil is drained by sucking through large size syringe. Have a look at this video.

Thanks.. So this is the culprit ..If we replace this fluid regularly say 10~15000 kms all should be good.

Next lets all work on getting the software update from Japan. Because its more of a software issue than mechanical ones.

I had this changed last week and the shifts seem to be much smoother for some reason. I'd recommend everyone to change theirs regularly too!
