Jagran Valley in Winter 2017 - Advise Required

Assalam O Alikum

I am planning a road trip from Karachi to Jagran Valley in winter vacations, I have some questions would appreciate the response from members

Is it advisable for 3 to 4 days at jargon resort in end of December with 2 years and 5 years kids ?
Is it advisable to go with own car or hired rental vehicle from Muzafferabad due to weather condition ?
Jagran resort will required advance booking, kindly share the contact person with number or should I booked from booking.com.

Sir jee, it will be extremely cold for a family from Karachi, not recommended.

December is the not the right time to go with small kids.

No doubt it will be cold, but you can always prepare accordingly. I used to take my kids when they were even few months old to extremely cold places during Dec/Jan.
