can some one summarize this thread?
what i understud was that the poster, said
-1)Goverment is auctioning some Jaguar cars.
-2)we wont supply service back up of the auction vehicles and report them as stolen?
according to me,
1) if the goverment auctions them there automaticly legal
2)and by servicing them on Premium motors is going to be in-profit and increase sales.
-1)But if the poster intends to say that these auctionable cars are actualy stolen and as a factory settings there locked on Transport mode which is not meant to go beyond 40 km/h and driving in such condition wud seize the engine,
-2)and they wont illegaly unlock such cars.
I think the company has a right not to entertain such cars as there policy and warning potential buyers that if they buy such cars Jaguar Pakistan wont give service backup.
And its there mehrbani that there telling it before the auctions. So that buyers noe that they wont get company backup and would have to service there cars with local mechanics.
Altho for many people it wont make a difference if Premium motors isnt servicing or unlocking there cars as in "Pakistan code breaking / sasta kaam / stealing copy rights isnt considered a crime and its said saste mei kam horaha hai to hone do".
So many people wont even consider contacting any such company and would go to other bigger workshops.
ANd Poster, even if you report such cars to Jaguar UK, it wud only block the VIN number of such cars and according to me it wont matter if driven in Pakistan not many people noe how to get the VIN number verified in Pakistan
And i highly doubt that a car driven in Pakistan would be imported to another country for being driven or a foriegn buyer would buy a Pakistani driven car.
PS: if i was wrong some where please correct me as i think, till i reachd this thread most of it was deleted.
