Mechanics in pk usually just slap rings into a glazed cylinder bore which makes the situation extremely worse than before.
And we dont know whats the run history of this engine, has it been filled with 20w50 oil and tap water as coolant, running with no thermostat because mechanic ke haath jal jainge.
Then all bets are off, - it will need a full in depth teardown and rebuild with true genuine parts. And on top if the machine shop doesnt know whats an ra for checking surface smoothness, or just wants to “phase” because it earns them money,
Forget the job entirely, better to throw away the car.
