Japanese Cars Export Certificate

Uhmmm found this right on time.
A purchased a Premio an year ago and came to find out that all the documents are original and clear and never had a problem while renewing it for tokens etc, but the file is missing Original Export Certificate so I asked they guy I purchased it from and he said he can make a copy of it from Karachi. It took him 8 months to make it. Now here's my first question is it really important once the car is registered in Pakistan and everything is done? Do you still need it? Bcoz initially it's used for the registration and once it's done there's no need I guess but it's good to have it. Secondly, if it's important then how can I verify this piece of paper he brought me as duplicate since original is lost.

Need someone to reply who faced the same issue or have experience in such matter thanks.

The most valid/essential document in an imported vehicle is it's Bill of Entry upon which all duties/taxes are assessed and stamped after payments and that is defaced at the time of registration by MRA if you have that in original with you than no need to worry.

Bill of entry is different than an Export certificate?
And yes rest of the file is complete and original except for the export certificate. Everything is paid and I don't have any issues on custom check posts when they check your registration or renewing the tokens etc.

Bill of entry is different than export certificate and presence of Bill of entry in a file is must if export certificate is missing no need to worry

export certificate as in auction sheet for a JDM vehicle?? it is not required for registration neither it is made part of original registration file. So if the auction sheet is not present in the file it is insignificant.

Export certificate from Japan is only issued for NEW UNITS shipped by OEM to their license holder partners as part of shipping bill. Without that paper insurance is not issued and freight carrier decline loading.

auction houses does not insure the vehicles prior to shipment so hardly any Auctioned vehicle documents have any export certificate.

It's 2002 model Premio registered in December 2005. It's a dry port car not a scheme car

Same issue i am facing that i have purchased x asista corrolla 2002 registered in 2006 amd dryport in 2005. But in documents it have no export sheet amd otjer documents like bill of landing is present with pasports copies. What to do about export certiticate. Kindly Pak wheelers experts guide me.
