Japanese Honda Hybrid Transmittion fluid HMMF?

I have a Japanese Imported Honda Freed Hybrid. The Dash Panel of car says in Japanese which I translated as"Maintenance Time has passed HMMF"
HMMF is Honda Multi Matic Fluid....it is the transmittion oil or gear oil used in Japan and I can't find it here in Pakistan
Can somebody reffer me to a shop where HMMF is available or Is there any REPLACEMENT for HMMF......other cars and Honda cars use CVT Fluid.
Should I use CVT instead???

I asked many people and finally got the CVTF 4 Litre Oil.....I got the oil changed without changing the filter...only cleaning
CVTF is the US version of HMMF
U will have to reset the indicator yourself from the sel reset button I watched the video link given below......Worked for me...car is totally fine.
Only reset the indicator after changing tbe oil.

Hi , I received the same msg in my insight , is it a routine error msg OR at that time when it required to replace.
secondly its a transmission oil ? right ...

One of the honda delaers used cvtf in my honda fit 2013 and now the gear is fucked up

can anyone help me out here?

You need to get Honda ATF, not CVT. Please search for a Vezel transmission fluid thread and it has all the details. Please go thru all of the thread as the OP made a mistake in between and put in Honda CVT fluid. Then corrected by putting in the correct quantity and type of ATF.

Thanks. I added atf dw1 but the issue remains. I think I have the software issue as my model is a recall and it has 5 stickers on it. Which clearly mentions on the website that the stickers no etc etc means that the gp5 1000etc chasis number had transmission issue and was rectified by changing the software. However now where can I get the software updated?

I am not sure but I dont think there is any way to update the software.
Connect your car with OBD2 port and clear all the records/logs. Reset the system and probably it will work fine, if there is some software record issue

Did U reset the software by Pressing Sel Reset button.... check the video link above in my comment. Try that.

As far as I know, they put stickers on the cars where the update has already been done. You'll have to search for a GP 5 thread where this was discussed (recall).

Bro. Just take the car to a Nice Mechanic and ask him to Clear Logs by connecting car with the Computer through OBD2 port.
Hopefully it will resolve your issue. No need to update software.

I dont think the Car not starting is related to HMMF error. Better get ur car checked for other issues.
Still U need to change the Transmission Fluid. Take the car to a good mechanic and ask him to change Transmission Fluid. I personally used CVTF in Honda Freed, car working flawless. Moreover Check for other errors by asking mechanic to connect OBD2 and clear the logs. Use the link in my Cmnt above to clear the Software error.

Hi ,, i changed last transmission oil(Honda CVTF) from Honda Driven 18 months ago, and drive around 30K Km ,it was working fine since then , but now i feel more jerk after auto stop , may be time for some tuning and cleaning or software upgrade ...
