Japanese JDM (2018) vs City Idsi (2006)

Looking to buy car for family use usually within city.
Honda N-WGN 2018 for 14.5 lacs
City idsi 2006 for 10.5 lacs

6 people are to be catered.
Main Requirements are capacity efficiency and low maintenance

You can’t really compare both of them they are cars of different segments and prices but if you want low fuel economy and more features then N Wgn
But if want a car with ability to easily sit 5 people then city but still city will be of older model year I will suggest finding some nice civic eagle eye you can find one in nice condition easily under your budget

You can barely sit 5 people in an n wgn how do you think you can put 6 people in a cramped 660cc hatchback made to sit 4 people

In terms of normal maintenance etc City will be better but it still will quite old if the N wgn you find is in good condition then it will also not be a hassle the only drawback is the parts prices of n wagon that are way more expensive than city

You are not giving a sensible suggestion for a low maintenance vehicle. Civics are more expensive to maintain than a honda city and requires more maintenance in the long run.

Honda City would be a better buy any day.

Low maintenance
Availability of spare parts.
A safe investment/ Good resale.
Sedan, + Good boot space
Gives around 14 kmpl in city driving

no comparison at all for both of them as one is a sedan with 1.3L engine and the other one is a kei car with 660cc.
with 6 people on board car will get ruined.
