Ijaz SB, mine doesn't respond to any button press. The power button blinks, the timer ahows 00 as blinking all the time.

Dear Ali

The blinking code "00" tells that electric power was cut-off and then restored. Check the plug and socket, might be loose connection.

A press of "Power" button will turn off the blinking code and another press should turn on the heater normally.

Dear Ijaz. I get 00 and power button blinking. But power didn't cut at all. Heater is Running normal but suddenly it starts beep plus lcd blinking 00 and also power button blinking. For some time blower is blowing then blower also stops but the lcd and start button blinking.
Any idea?

Sure the power gets interrupted, may be for a fraction of a second. You can check this your self. Run the heater and when it is working, turn off power and then back ON.

It will show the same behavior. Some times, power from Wapda also flickers which is not noticeable on LED lights or other devices.

I just read the manual. Code for overheating is 14 so that's not the case.

My heater is constantly giving me 00 error randomly. Sometimes after hours. Sometimes instantly. Power interruption is now out of question. I suspect those low cost internal 220v to 110v converter is cause of problem.

After 8 hours of continuous use, heater turns off automatically and "00" flashes on the display along with Power Button Blinking.

Otherwise, it is due to power interruption. Carefully check power cable of heater, most likely there is a crack in the cable or inside the heater. The power cable is prone to damage because it gets twisted lots of time when heater is moved.

Salam. Ijaz Bhai, your kind help is required. My Tokyo Gas heater when turned on, immediately displays error code 14 and starts blinking power button and error code with cold air from blower coming out.... Kindly help... Thanks

Wa Alaikum Salam

Most likely it is internal overheat error, usually caused by blocked filter (jali on the back) but in your case, it looks like the sensor (inside) is either damaged/faulty or it is dislocated from its original position and somehow is near to the flame area now.

Thank you so much Sir...My heater do not have back jali... I opened the case but didn't went deeper.... Could you kindly suggest which area should I look for to resolve this issue?
If you could guide with picture of even some other model, I will be able to probe the issue.

Neither I am in heater repair business nor I have any closer model. So can't help with pictures.

Which city you are in ? I saw some ad on OLX for repair of these heaters but that was in RWP/ISB area.

Oh Sorry... I am in Rwp and yes, there is a repair shop in PWD ... Actually, this same error appeared in Feb this year and I got repaired from this shop and then packed and stored it. Now, when I re- installed it, it worked for only one day and then this issue appeared. I was wondering, why the same error appeared again... That's why, I wanted to go through it for self repair... Kindly note that error 14 is due to internal overheat. It could be clogged filter (Jali at the back) or it could be your blower motor running slow.

Try removing the back grill and see if it improves.
