@typeN regarding these cars i dont know exactly because i dont want to get in trouble repairing cars but the one who has their own denting painting shops they can be repaired because most of the cars which are damaged importers put used spare parts inside the same car and custom officials take underhand for that spare parts, regarding law no bhaijaan their is no law, but in Pakistan people go for less demand cars but they dont see the worth they are investing so their always a buyer of such cars.
@osama96 yeah baby:P 36km/liter and they are not damaged actually it helps for better fuel economy less parts, less weight so you will get good fuel average:P
@kamranaslam yup vigo though duty is around 33-34lacks on it, regarding damage prius actually it is especially manufactured for better fuel economy people take out passenger seats but for Pakistan market they take out exterior parts

why all these cars are damaged also if importers them selves buy damaged cars thn how they repair here in Pakistan,means arranging parts ???

spot on. and these are the cars that many proudly show off as 'Japan import' etc. and pay millions for. Shabash! and , i understand why the authorities don't encourage the local car industry to develop as there's more money in this game. it's a carefully managed racket.

hmm so people with some knowledge of cars will catch if something is wrong bt if 1 doesnt know and spends his life saving buying an infected car so he iswo to loot gaya. so less priced JDM are somewhat repaired and totally repaired:D whats the condition of your axio ?

one thing that i have noticed in these pics is that the smaller cars of 660cc or 100cc like (mira, alto, boon, passo, kei, etc) are mosly damaged but sedans are in better shape... i guess one should go for auction grade vehicle with auction sheet only when buying a JDM or may be import urself if u can... rest u have to trust the dealer and that is hard thng to do...

@nickanite man i feel sorry for you, if someone owns a expensive car no matter you dont know any thing about the history of the car whether it was accidented or genuine condition, and u saw it and thinks that person is showing off, then its ur fault if u cant afford it atleast appreciate it, dont judge people so fast. A friendly advise for u.

@typeN bhai its totally upon the buyer and according to my knowledge those people who buy japanese cars have already so much experience that they can easily spot the repaired and geuine part in Pakistan or not. regarding my car u can saw pictures on 1st page pic No.7,8,9. btw u can trsu me;)

There is no problem in buying a car having minor damages. A car comes out from showroom and get scratches very soon. So what a person is supposed to do then? Just visit any 3S dealer or any denter shop and have a look at damaged cars there. People still buy these pkdm repaired cars. I personally bought a passo having minir dents on it. The car came out from port in front of my eyes and i have no problem in keeping that car. As i have paid 75k less than what dealers are demanding at showrooms for a probably repaired car.

We just need to take care that car is not engaged in main accident, and dont have any impact on frame.

Even merce and bmw are damaged ones and here sold as scratch less condition cars.And people happily buy them for 50lakhs.Sad to see s class in this condition

@drtariqazeem every japanese car has auction sheet grades are from S,6,5,4.5,4,3.5,3, R (replace means needs denting), RA (Repaired means car is repaired with original replaced part), ***(means total loss or accidental cars which has no grade and on auction sheet u can see chassis number but their is a stamp of no inspection on sheet)

Not necessary, the car bougt from auction house will have auction sheet.

Actually a month back i was totally zero about these cars. Searching on net abt info on these cars. Then i was by my brother that our neighbours are importers of these jdm cars and have showroom at khalid bin waleed rd.

I asked them abt grade and mileage of a car, he said what grade and mileage do u want? Lolz.

I have seen a prius 300K + driven. (driven as taxi) Its meter was reversed and battery replaced with used battery.

that is the point that if these cars come in their genuine condition no meter reversing etc then they deserve a good price tag. i also visited some sites of Japanese cars the mileage i saw there of various vehicles was way more as people quoting here!
