HelloI just recently bought the new alto shape which has came in pakistan the 9th generation and now it's due for the oil change so can someone guide me which oil to go for bcz some suggest 5w30 for better performance rather than the 10w40
either use 0w20 or 5w30

I Bought the Lapin variant in the new shape which has the multimedia steering and I bought for 36 lacs it is 5 grade and original 3k km running with verfified auction sheet the avg on the highway without ac is 25km and with ac Around 23.5 in the city its normally giving me 20+
I live in the interior side where temperature is normally in summer is 42 to 44 degrees so would 0w20 work fine with engine in that much heat?
20+ more then local alto may be u have free roads there bcz of less traffic?

It works fine for many cars. People who used 0w20 in places like karachi report no problems. Newer synthetic oils last much longer in higher temperatures then conventional minerals oils. You'll be fine.
