JDM 660cc Vs Passo 2015 Vs Passo Moda Version

Assalamualikm pakwheelers,

I am new to this forum, kindly guide me the best option as per your knowledge. Following are my requirements.

1. Fuel Economy Have to travel 30Km daily use plus 200km on weekends, 1000 kms per month roughly. (Have to consider how much fuel economy car is giving)

2. Drive in Congested city Vs Long Drive I have to use it within the twin cities and once or maximum twice for out of city like Lhr , Multan or some northern areas. So, if i go for JDM 660cc, will it fulfill the requirement mentioned. As i have heard that 660cc car is under-powered Plus i have watched some reviews by pakwheels youtube that JDM 660cc owners admit; it just gives 14-15kms per liter avg. That would not be the attraction for a car buyer i guess,

3. Handy for rushy area I live in one of the most busy rush area of the city. So, it should be worth consideration that i go for hatchback car rather than sedan Honda city. Kindly second my point of view or correct me.

4. Parts availability for JDM 660cc or passo is a genuine issue or not ?

5. Comparison of JDM cars Vs brand new zero meter cars

I request all of the respected members to please give some expert opinions on the questions i asked above. It would be so helpful for me to shortlist and buy my first car. As its a matter of more or less 1.7 to 2M rupees so i want to take up it very carefully in finalizing my decision. JazakALLAH kher for this kind deed

You should Go for Vitz...
It has more options than Passo. Also stylish, resale value.. Many other options. I mean it beats Passo in every field.
As far as 660cc concerned...
Don't go for that one.... Bro... You will regret it...... That car is just to be used within the city... Not for long drives and more KMs.
And yes... Vitz are more fuel economical thst any PKDM Cars...

Based on your situation, i would suggest following:

1. Brand New PKDM Celerio / Cultus
2. JDM Passo Moda Package
3. JDM Passo 2015 model

660cc may be completely ignored.

Correct regarding Vitz, however, 2 things:

1. Features / Options are more in Passo than Vitz, provided we are comparing almost similar packages.
2. Fuel efficiency of Vitz is less than Passo, since its more in weight than Passo. Power to weight ratio matters!

And it is supposed vitz has 1.5 to 2 lacs more price than passo.. currently passo 2016 moda price bracket is 1.9M to 2.1M so implies vitz will be 2.3M to 2.5M .. that goes out of my budget infact.

Only option left is Passo .. it seems

Yes. You are Right. Vitz is almost 1.5-2 lac Rs. (or may be even more in some cases) expensive than Passo. I fear, You are only left with either Passo, or Cultus / Celerio.

Regarding used JDMs, imports have almost stopped and some importers / showroom owners are shifting towards other businesses.

In this scenario, i would strongly recommend you brand new Cultus AGS, instead of used JDM Passo. Rest, your money, your choice!
(If imports had been open, then i would have strongly urged You to self import Passo. May be, i wouldn't have recommended Cultus then).

14-15km is rushy area is a wonderful average for a non-hybrid car.
Buy Toyota aqua if fuel economy is really your concern.

I have read a post by pakwheels and carmania and other sources that a meeting has been held in this week to regularize the car imports. Govt is in final state to ammend the policy for it.

If it happens then yes i will import the car, else no other option except buy Cultus or wagon R ..

Yes. That would be Great IN SHA ALLAH but chances are quite less.

Wagon R may be avoided. Cultus / Celerio is much better option.

Bro tbh I don't know. However, I had Passo 2013 model, X package (the most basic one, without eco idle). It used to give me 16-19 kmpl within twin cities, from Bahria Town to Pak Secretariat, and back, via Main PWD double road (highly crowded), Islamabad Expressway, Murree road / Blue area.
Conditions: Always fully maintained, Driven with extreme care and soft foot, speed mostly maintained and no rash driving.

U took best avg from that .. i know 3 4 of my friends passo 2015 .. at max they take 14 15 km pr litre.

New model Passos are pricier then the vitz of similar models. PASSO crossed 2 million, Vitz can be found in under 2 million budget.
