I have bought this car for my wife & using as a secondary car. My concern is Mileage, tank fills up around in 2K but its not giving me more than 300KM/tank.
It has Turbo engine, Manufacture date is 2004 & register in 2008. I have made all possible checks, but mileage is not more than that. Please suggest something

according to my calculations you are getting around 12 km/L .

Brother the car is quite old model , and its total mileage would also be very high. hence I don't think it can give more than 15-16 km/L avg. Plus turbo engines have a little less avg than non-turbo , it reduced about 1-3 km/L . My 2012 wagonR (non turbo) is giving me 19-20 in city with only 20K total mileage. I think the avg you are getting is reasonably good.

I have suzuki stingray with turbo feature 2012 Model with 34K on ODO, its giving me 17KM/L without AC in city

I got the spare tyre from bilal ganj .. I looked and asked around and about 6-7 shops and eventually found the "exact" recommended spare tyre as per the manual. the specs are T115/70D14

JDM spare tyres have yellow colored rims and are very thin compared to regular tyres. and you need to fill it to atleast 40-42 psi air pressure.

I usually dont carry the tyre in my trunk for my everyday commute from office to home. i have that electronic air pump . if your tyre gets punctured you can fill air temporarily with that pump and then drive to near by workshop and get puncture fixed.

I bought it for long outer city roads or on routes which dont have workshops near by like travelling on motorway to gujranwala etc.

I don't have electronic air pump in my WagonR. From where can I purchase it and for how much it cost?

I posted some pages from the manual translated for this.

The recommended for 155/65R14 is 40 psi and for 165/55R15 is 34 psi ...

my wagonr has the 1st one but i keep the tyre pressure at 36psi.

the famous 30psi tyre pressure is a very old thing held on by our stupid workshop mechanics who know nothing about new things . the most common tyres these days have recommended 34 - 38 psi .. some even have 40psi recommendation.

the pressure should be such that a standing car with 2 passengers the tyre should be exactly "straight" from rim to edge. if its a bit wider on the edge then that pressure is less.

I keep the tyre pressure to 26 psi in all tyres. It results in high comfort-ability during driving as the high pressure in tyres will result in load on shock absorbers which gets hard after some time.

you are compromising fuel economy and also your tyres life span for comfort ... research a bit on the net you will find the reasons.

IMHO i also don't agree with the load on shock obsorbing argument. Shock absorbing is their "job" that is what they are made for and when they get hard after time they can be serviced and made soft again. not the case with tyres

about comfort, I don't feel any discomfort in my car , infact City chalanay wala dost ne jab drive ki to kehta ye bohat ziada comfortable hai. But comfort is a relative term so , to each his own

you didn't get the accessories ? like tyre jack and stuff ? ... they are common and readily available now in market. it will be around 2k Rs not more than that. Do look around and buy original JDM extracted from or sold by JDM owners who don't want it and prefer keeping spare in back.

Mine is 165/55R15 so i guess 34 psi is the correct tyre pressure, but some people say that 30 psi is ideal for Summer and Hot days.

Can anyone please tell me , what is the correct Tyre pressure for Wagon R Stingray , cause i bought one a week ago and after i stopped at some Tyre shop , he filled the Tyres @ 30 psi and after that LOW PRESSURE TYRE SIGNAL is ON.

Any input would be appreciated.

I have suzuki Stingray 2012, Its manual says that if your tyres are 155/65R14 then its tyre pressure must be 280 kPA (Kilo Pascal) or 2.8 kgf/cm(sqr), which is basically 40.6106 PSI (Pound Force per Square Inch) in pakistan

These Tyre Gas pressue guyx always say that some people keep it at 28 and some at 30 , i have drove PASSO and BELTA and i have always kept @ 30 even the tyre size was bigger than 12".

As there is neither a spare wheel in JDM-WagonR nor its place beneath the trunk, so plz share how all of you made its arrangement or any alternate?

Mostly 660CC cars come with punture kit which includes, electrical air pump, sealant bottle and two nozzles to fill the sealant in tyre if it is puntured, please see the pics i have uploaded how to use punture kit.

You are welcome. Never listen to these tyre shop guys or the illiterate mechanics, always follow what is written in manual and follow the maintenance schedule written there. Use the grades of fluids mentioned in the manual. No one else can better understand except the manufacturer

Well 5W30 Fully Synthetic is good, but I am doing more research according to pakistani environment.
