I have been getting different opinions from different people. some people say that engine parts are easily available however body parts are only available from used car spare parts market? is it true?

Thanks. Cruise control is not available. These are car mostly meant for within city driving, and gives the best fuel average from 60KM to 80Km on long drive so not suitable for long drive.

Body parts are available in Sultan Ka Khoo in Rawalpindi. These are used parts but looks new and their quality is far better than local new parts. As far as engine is concerned, I think if you properly maintain the engine, it will serve you for long and once the engine is out of order then its better to replace it and engines of imported cars are quite cheap but body parts are quite expensive

I've WaginR Stingray 2012. It has v good acceleration & have awsome jumbojet mild sound during smooth drive....Fuel economy is also v good...It's features are unmatched...I wonder if it is a Suzuki car....it is far more better than all local teen dabba suzuki cars....

You are absolutely right, the quality of JDM is far better than local cars along with features. What mileage you are achieving

I bought Suzuki Wagon R Stingray 2012 model in Red Wine color. I am loving the drive. It has a turbo engine which goes like to 80 in 6 seconds. I am loving the speed. I knew with turbo engine it will not give an average above 20 but that was not my first choice anyway. It is still giving me around 16 KM/L which is enough for me.

highly recommended as a car.

I have JDM WagonR 2013 model, purchased 6 months ago and drove around 6000 km till date. The meter reading is now approx. 12000.
I have neither change any plug nor tunned the engine from any mechanic. Plz suggest whether engine tunning must be required? if yes from where in Lahore?

I have bought this car for my wife & using as a secondary car. My concern is Mileage, tank fills up around in 2K but its not giving me more than 300KM/tank.
It has Turbo engine, Manufacture date is 2004 & register in 2008. I have made all possible checks, but mileage is not more than that. Please suggest something

I assume you might have already changed its engine oil and oil + air filters ..

I can't say about tuning.. but ..

the original iridium plugs have a very very long life and at 12000 mileage its not required. mine is at 21k , talked to a mechanic at filter house and also consulted the guy i got it imported from and he said no need . Although he advised to get throttle body checked and cleaned (if needed) at regular intervals.

to be safe. Get its plugs and throttle body checked from a good and "honest" mechanic who has experience of JDMs, who will tell the condition honestly and not ripoff you to get them replaced and cleaned just to get money.

I purchased it from my Friend who normally deals mostly in 660ccs.
I changed the engine oil & oil filter.
I shall inspect its plugs checked from an old Mechanic of Mini Motors within a couple of days.

I got the spare tyre from bilal ganj .. I looked and asked around and about 6-7 shops and eventually found the "exact" recommended spare tyre as per the manual. the specs are T115/70D14

JDM spare tyres have yellow colored rims and are very thin compared to regular tyres. and you need to fill it to atleast 40-42 psi air pressure.

I usually dont carry the tyre in my trunk for my everyday commute from office to home. i have that electronic air pump . if your tyre gets punctured you can fill air temporarily with that pump and then drive to near by workshop and get puncture fixed.

I bought it for long outer city roads or on routes which dont have workshops near by like travelling on motorway to gujranwala etc.

I posted some pages from the manual translated for this.

The recommended for 155/65R14 is 40 psi and for 165/55R15 is 34 psi ...

my wagonr has the 1st one but i keep the tyre pressure at 36psi.

the famous 30psi tyre pressure is a very old thing held on by our stupid workshop mechanics who know nothing about new things . the most common tyres these days have recommended 34 - 38 psi .. some even have 40psi recommendation.

the pressure should be such that a standing car with 2 passengers the tyre should be exactly "straight" from rim to edge. if its a bit wider on the edge then that pressure is less.
