Its always zero . Even i am using eco idle . Why is that ??

that is strange .. does your idle stop system work ? like when you stop at a signal the engine turns off and starts again when you release break ?

there is another meter which shows the total 'time' the engine was off using idle-stop. bring that up and check if the time starts increasing when the car stops for idle-stop function.

Ok i will check and see the time as well. And yes idle system works perfectly . Do wagonr have two batteries in each passenger seat and driver seat ? .or just one in passenger
seat ?

Thanks for the response.

I'm confused as to get a new PKDM Wagon R or a used Japanese one.

JDM provides features while PKDM has some peace of mind due to new car.

Also can someone enlighten on differences in various variants of JDM Wagon R available in our market.

if by peace of mind you mean maintenance , then if you buy a 4(or even 3.5) grade , less millage JDM , verified auction sheet and not the fake from local dealers, then you will get 'more' peace of mind than the local pkdm . i guarantee that.

wagonR has 2 batteries , 1 (liquid ) in engine bay and 1 dry battery below passenger seat.

less than 800cc , all have same registration fee + lifetime token (one time, no yearly tokens ) .
here in lahore,punjab its around 35k for non-filers of tax and 30k for filers . I assume it will be around same in khi too, not confirm though.

there's this guy javaid denso in lahore, he claims he can duplicate keys for prius, mira and move. he might be able to do for Wagon R

Someone adviced me to use liquimoly oil . is that so ?

don't use engine oils like shell,havoline wagaira ever in JDMs .. go for either liqui moli , or kixx (authentic dealer) ... Zic was good but now people are getting issues with it because mostly its 2-number.
also follow the fuel saving techniques :
1- drive with soft pedal keeping the meter green all the time
2- properly inflate your tyres.. atleast 34-36 psi in all tyres
3- use mix of high octane with super 60-40 (or all high octane) , now the new PSO petrol is 92 RON so that is enough , if you want you can mix like 30% new high performance petrol with the new Altron X normal .

I would highly recommend to drain and change your engine oil. get liquimoli 5w30 its changing is after 6k+ . I myself change it after 6.5k KM and still its quite good to go for another 1k or so said by mechanic

Just an update on my wagonR ,

in summers with AC on I got around 19 km/L average (all in-city )
now as the winters have arrived and AC off the last measure gave 22 KM/L Alhamdulillah .

And this time I got the new PSO Altron with 40-60 ratio (highperf - normal) .. lets see what we get. I know it won't be a big diff but lets see.

I inflate my tyres to 36 psi in all tyres, but a week ago one of my tyres got a big puncture which needed to be repaired with a patch .. and because of that now I am forced to keep all at 32 psi .

Got my 2nd Oil Change of LiquiMoli 5w30 after 6600 KM and still it was very clean , mechanic said you could have easily use it for another 1k that means we can push it to 7k+

My question , my odo is at around 36k .. should I get that 40k mileage full checkup ? if yes then from where and what should be checked etc
