What's the comparison between turbo and non-turbo JDM wagon R? In terms of fuel consumption in city with AC, and fuel type and any other issues with turbo and non-turbo variant?

my jJDM suzuki wagon r is decreasing engine oil, please suggest fix, it is decreasing 700mL after 2000Kms, I just switched from havoline 10w-40 to HX-5 shell which is also 10w-40 but this time i used 20w-50 (Shell HX-3) all being mineral oils. I used 20w-50 because it is more viscous, some guy told me that use that oil, may be this will not be decreased due to its high viscosity. I have not tried synthetic or semi synthetic oil yet. It is 2007 model, imported in 2013 and it has 140,000 KMS on its meter

As yours is 140k mileage so thick oil is ok but 20w50 is too much IMO ..at max you should go for 10w30 or 10w40(max).
this pouring in 'thick' oil is just a bad workaround ... Not a fix!.
The most common reason for decreasing oil is leaking oil out of engine due to worn out gasket which needs replacement. Find a good mechanic with JDM engine experience and get it checked.

Also I'm not confirmed whether 2007 model required fully synthetic oil in the manual or not. But if it did require that , then putting in non-synthetic is a big big mistake. it will ruin the engine internals. If you have the manual check it.
If its japanese you can translate parts of it using google translator mobile app. use its picture translation it scans the pic and detect the japanese words and translate.

Thanks for your reply and suggestions. The 20w-50 is performing very bad, it decreased by half litre in just 1000 KMS.......I consulted with a mechanic but he is insisting to replace assembly of engine (the ring piston block) and he is asking about Rs. 35000. I will try to find the manual and follow the instructions, i guess i should give a try to fully synthetic oil....is it good move?

mechanic is right .. that is the fix for old engines losing engine oil . either you overhaul the engine . putting in new rings and piston or replacing the whole block , gasket is put a new.
Or if you want a long term permanent solution . replace the whole thing with a low mileage one bought from scrap market. low mileage 660cc engines can be found. if the mechanic is good and sincere he will get a good one non-accidental genuine engine and replace and you will be set for 3-4 years

Thanks bro, I understood, just clear me one thing that car is giving white smoke in morning start up only, afterwards no white smoke is observed; so still should i go to replacement of engine or just change gasket and valve seals only?

that is clear sign of worn out ring-piston and gasket. that is your engine oil burning and coming out the wrong way .. you see it in morning but you cannot see or notice it while driving but its still there. engine overhaul or replacement is the only fix for this. I highly recommend getting engine replaced with not-opened , non -accidental engine

it is currently showing 17.7 KM/Litre average on the ODO. It has a CVT gear box and a ENE charge system (not belt driven generator based old tech) to charge hybrid battery. Lithium ion battery is used during start stop functionality to run the car systems on signals when the engine shuts off automatically. I am assuming if it is maintained and driven carefully 17-20 KM/Litre average is achievable. Price is negotiable to reasonable extent considering that demand is very apt, please talk to me…

The car been heavy and had low pick, consulted a mechanic (trustworthy) he flushed the catalytic converter filter which is located just in the start of exhaust pipe from engine side. That put very good effect on pick and car is running very light. At this weekend i will be changing engine oil, this time i am going to use ZIC X7 10W-40 (VHVI TECH) is a synthetic formula engine oil (last time i used 20W-50 mineral shell oil) as per your recommendation. I owe an other suzuki wagon r Pak made, it is 10,000KM on its odo, i going to use ZIC X7 FE 5W-20 (A+) fully synthetic next time; would this make sense and previously i been using Suzuki company oil which was semi-synthetic SAE 5W-30. I have no idea of the paksuzuki wagonr recommended oil type .. consult their owners manual. always use oil type that's in owners manual . if it says semi-sythetic . use that of good company . if it says fully-synthetic use that. also the recommended viscosity is also written in manual.
for JDM its 0w20 to max 5w30 in hotter climates like ours. .. you car engine has too much mileage so yes 10w40 looks good i guess.
