So, I went to Raja Atta Bhai, amazed to see that the workshop was open & operational at 8:30, a nice person, humble, polite enough to answer each and every query and very detailed when it came to diagnoses.
So this time, the car was Passo, Model 2010, Imported in 2013, which my elder brother recently bought (Just two months ago), the previous owner told us in detail that the car is immaculate, no mechanical issues and that he is just selling it because he needs to buy a sedan. We checked it all which we could (as we are no experts) and apparently it was looking good, the drive was fine as well, after buying it, we changed the oil (Zic 10W40), air / oil filters as well and started using it, it was a daily driven, so we started monitoring oil level as well.
While monitoring the vehicle during early days, we observed that after first 700 Kms it has reduced oil a little, we observed more and after 2,000 kms it reduced oil up to 1 Litre and at 3,000 kms the oil went to minimum level, we thought this might be because of bad quality oil (had doubts), so we changed it again from an authentic oil shop and again, this time only after driving it for just 12oo kms, the oil level has gone down to minimum level on the stick, this is when we decided to go to get it checked from Atta bhai.
After the diagnoses, we were told that the engine has completely deteriorated and it needs a complete rebuild.
We took an estimate and discussed a few details, hopefully will visit in last week of December to have the rebuild work done.
It feels so bad to be cheated, society has gone completely corrupt, it's heart wrenching to see your hard earned money going like this, still we discussed at home, decided not to con anyone else by selling it further to someone, we will In Sha ALLAH get the required work done and rest is left on Almighty ALLAH.
