JDM Wagon R Stingray Idling stop not working

Dear All Assalam O Alikum!

I purchased Wagon R Stingray yesterday. I am facing a problem with its idling stop option. It has a secondary battery under the passenger seat.
When I press idling stop button its gets off and orange light appears and when i press it again the light turns off but he feature is not in working condition.
Can anyone please guide me in this regard.

I have the same problem which you are mentioning. After a checkup with my mechanic, he advised me that one of the sensors in the car is broken. As a result of this the button of idle stop is working but the car does not stop. Replacing the sensor can fix the problem and might even increase the fuel consumption of the car. However be reminded that the sensor is costly in used form. Good Luck!

check ur main battery (used for starting engine) and make sure there is no loose connection.

Please also tell me the mechanic name and number so i also get my car checked from him because idling stop is also not working for me as well.

Secondly can he handle all the issues related to the car? I need to fix few more things.

I hav same problem with my car. Idling stop button not working and idling stop lite on dashboard is blinking. My mechenic saying some conection is lose in dashboard

I fixed my problem by getting the new sensor. It costs around 9K. My mechanic is Javaid Denso, Jail road, Lahore.
