the engine at the moment is from a coaster bus, im not sure which one exactly, dad had it changed like 8-10 years ago. its a diesel engine. i think 2800cc. again, i dont have much of an idea about the engine.
i would like to replace it with an economical, yet powerful, petrol engine which would be quieter. this engine right now wakes up the dead when i start it up.
As for original parts, i would like nothing better to restore this to its original beauty. Also, good point about not needing 4x4 since we have another Cj thats all hooked up for off roading standing at the village.
attaching some pictures of the current condition. body is relatively rust free but needs work. i would liek to put skirting on the rear panels , basically a body kit. tires will have to be replaced, there is a lot of work to be done and i hope to be started soon.
can anyone recommend a good powerful but relatively silent engine for this car? even if i do want 4x4? any help is appreciated. thanks guys.
