Jet needle setting diy of 78 cm cc carb for fuel efficiency

I did a diy to set china 78 cm cc jet needle at number 2 to get good fuel efficiency as I collect info that at this number motorbike consumes less fuel
Do you guys prefer this method. Or outer side method just rotating screws of fuel mixture and race you prefer.
If jet needle method is more accurate did I set at correct at number 2 ?

i always adjust fuel from this needle. usually put the lock at 2nd position.

What do you think brother to adjust fuel from outside method is preferable or from jet needle ? And why ?

I prefer slide method. As i have better results from it then the screws.

Bro apse ma iss baray intouch rahonga. I want to conclude some experience regarding this. Meray bike mechanic ne hi ye method suggest kia tha. Pehle usee ne number 3 pr jet needle set ki and result was awesome 53 kmpl around but after few time kmpl 40 pe dip kr gia. Phir maine dubara us se set krwaya. Usne phir jet needle 3 number pe hi set kia phir consumption best ho gaye but after few days phir khrab. I don't know ye drop down kiyun ho jati thi.

Ab roz roz mechanic ke pass jane ke bjae is baray net se maine info gather ki diy ki / I mean khudi tune krne ki aur during this ye bi pta chala to get highly good consumption 2 number is best. Number 1 se bike bilkul hi beth jati ha lehaza wo maine avoid kia. Number 2 pe bi bike thore beth gaye ha but it's acceptable. But mujko dar ha ke kahin engine pe koi bad affect to ni pr ra. Because bike mechanic mostly 3 number recommend krte han. But 3 number mujko suit ni kia as I told good fuel consumption drop down ho jati thi after few hundred kilometers like just after 300 to 400.

mane har adjustment try ki hoe hai same bike pe. 2nd sab sy behtar hai. ap 2nd pe kr ky chala kr dekho
or jesy @hamikhan bhai ny kaha hai bahir screw sy adjustment krni prti hai.

Brother I never heard this method before to do screws setting from plug tip check. I heard of setting idle and fuel mixture screw but don't know how to do it properly. Can you tell ke after jet needle set at number 2. After that why idle and fuel mixture secrew setting required ?

hit and trail method.
adjust it , drive it , see the condition of plug and repeat, until you get idle plug colour.

Sorry for late entry.

At number 1 it will be most lean and at 5 it will be most rich.

Actually this setting doesn't affects the avg 0ver entire range of speedw/race.

All Desi carbs have three primary circuits to meter feul supply.

Needle controls major portion from 60-100%of throttle range.

It must be set so that it gives perfect burn of mixture.

To test each range Clean the plug and find some good long free patch of road. Hit full speed in top gear for few seconds 5-10 seconds at most then immediately turn off bike and press clutch in and release the race. Then Chek reading on plug.

You will find a sweet spot after few tries.

Also remember if you are going to replace needle replace it on pairs with its needle jet in which the needle passes.

Mostly the center reading is fine but if it's old bike thenthe needle jet gets widened so lower the clip in needle say set at 2 position. At high altitudes like murree set 8t to 1/2

Now please tell few things why do some mechanics just tune from outside screws of fuel mixture and idle.
And they don't touch jet needle.
To get good fuel average.

But some mechanics do it from jet needle to get good fuel consumption.

Please also tell after jet needle setting is it necessary to do setting from fuel mixture and idle screw outside? Agr idle/I mean race after jet needle setting set hi ho like before phir bi krna chae from outer screws.

Engine fuel consumption pta krne ke mujko easy methamatical way ata ha. Note reserve kilometer from first reserve to second reserve and iss dooran jitne ka petrol dlwaya usko per liter rate se divide kr ke jo answer ayega usko from first till second reserve se divide.

Second baat agr humko feel ho bike missing nhi kr rhi after jet needle adjustment and engine correct fuel le ra ha. Tow kia outer secrews setting ko avoid hi kr dia jaye ?

Full clock wise tight kr kay anti clock wise 180 degree thora thora open krna shoru kr dain jahan appko engine key running speed sahi lagay vahin prr chor dain. mixture zyda tight ho ga tow bike appko starting mein problem kray gee mixture zyda open ho ga tow bike appko chlanay mein ghuti huwi feel ho gee baki road prr bike ko 5,7 kilometer 4th gear mein mostly on full speed then medium then normal prr chlian ghar wapas aa kr plug open kr kay dakhain agr plug bilkul dry reddish ho tow app key setting ok hay aor agar plug prr carbon ho tow mixture ko clock wise thora thora kr kay tight krtay jian untill carbon will be vanished from plug tip & its surrounding circle

Aj meri bike ko jub reserve lga maine note kia ke bike ne intehai ghatia average di ha again. Which was 40 kmpl in city as I told bike is 78 cm. Jet needle 2# pe bhi Ye wohi ghatia average thi jo 3 # pe thi.Mujko lga shaed ye bad consumption after jet needle setting bahar se screws set na krne ki wja se ha. Bahar se screws ko ma filhal hath nhi lgana chah ra tha as I felt I have not proper grip on them filhal. So Meray raste me aik mera second mechanic tha who is such a nice person. Maine usko sara majra btaya ke bhai jet needle number 2 pe set ha tum us hisab se bahar se fuel & idle screw set kr doo ke bike set bhi rhe aur petrol bhi kam khae. Ma uske setting dekhta rha. Off bike pe Usne pehle fuel mixture ko full clock wise ghumaya phir anti clock wise 3 and half turn lie aur phir bike start kr ke half turn more anti clock wise lia yani complete 4 anticlock wise turns lie. Ye bhi bola idle screw shi ha setting ki zarorat nhi lg rhi.
