Jialing JH70 Engine Overhauling and Upgrading Engine Suggestion Required

Hi there Pakwheels Professionals i want your kind suggestion whether my Bike Jialing Jh70 Required Complete Engine Overhauling the reason iam saying this because my bike is 4rth owner and i donnt know about previous owners whether they do timely maintenance or change engine oil over time etc etc hopefully bike is over 150,000km above because its 2003 model of course.

My Bike is Over heating much and its acceleration is very slow as it is 72cm3 so peace of my mind i wannt to upgrade its engine to 78cm3 aur 86cm3 iwant to ask pakwheels expert wether it required overhauling becuase as per my information bike engine is sealed till date but many times its clutch plates and pressure plates changed as i purchased bike in used condition in september 2012 from akbar road karachi till date 2 time its clutch plates changed my monthly running of bike is 1200 km approx i changed oil on time etc etc

Please tell me whats are the benefits of upgrading engine to 78cm3 and 86cm3 is there any difference in 78cm3 vs 86cm3 and whats the required budget do i arrange for whole engine overhauling (all bearing etc)

I will suggest you to go for overhauling by time passage it will become worse and you will be visiting mechanics why 78-86cc(cm3) why not 107cc

and don"t use bearing head in overhouading process as they have long life

A well maintained 72 CC engine gives reasonable power out put. So better to go for its over hauling/repairing with quality parts. If u really need more power with relative less fuel economy then u may go for bigger bore options.

sir wil i go for 86cm3 head cylinder for my bike and which company 86cm3 head cylinder availiable and what about its price?

i just want more power from my bike but not much power which decrease engine life example 107cm3 or 124cm3 head which head cylinder is optimal for my bike 78cm3 or 86cm3 please help me out guys

which vendor make best quality head and cylinder as well as piston? which is best available in market and what about its price?

and also tell me about 97cm3 head cylinder can it decrease engine life of my bike well jialing engine is tough build i guess from local bikes so can it bear 86cm3 or 97cm3 optimally?

Well I m not sure about the exact prices of spare parts but I will recommend not go more than 78CC in ur current setup if u wish to increase engine power with ~100CC upgrade its better u shuld search complete engine from Scrap market & have it swapped in ur bike.

if you put in same replacement parts you will get back the lost power of your engine... i would not experiment with bigger displacement simply because it will not be reliable in the long run

^ Precisely what I was about to say.

Chinese crank cases and their shoddy materials cannot and will not withstand the extra generated power for long. Pull it throughout the rpm ranges in the summers for an hour or two's stretch and I'm fairly certain the engine will start to create problems/noises. I would simply replace all engine bearings, put in a new stock oversize piston with rings, clutch parts (Friction, pressure plates and springs) and perhaps get the valves re-lapped if need be. New oil pump. New timing chain with new tension'ers and be done with it. If the camshaft looks worn have that replaced as well.

The loss of power you experience now is most likely because of worn piston and rings, thus the new piston pack will surely get rid of that loss.

so all you guys saying that i stick with stock head cylinder E22 and 72cm3 and replace all mechanical engine parts whether ring piston clutch and pressure plates bearings whether crank shaft etc if i want some little extra power i go for maximum 78cm3 displacement?

if you want to put 97cc head of prioder full engine need to be open cranck case to add crank weight and I think 78-86cc will also need new weights go for original 72cc if you want to spent less

overhaul is best option..

72cc have 41 mm (not sure about exact readings) strokje whaeresa 78/86/97/104/107/110/125cc have 49.5mm stroke..
so there will be more parts to buy ..
