4x4Engaged?is planning to send another truck of relief goods in next week, members & friends work can only continue through the support of donors like you.
Dear members and friends,
4x4Engaged? is in contact with a member (Kashif Quyum aka fihsak) based in Noshehra volunteering relief work for the flood affectees. The situation as he told is very bad and getting worse as now contagious diseases are taking there tole. People are without food and even drinking water is scarcely available. A lot of you must have heard that price of a single roti has gone up to Rs 35.
These are the times when we are required to be united and do as much as we can to help our brothers. They need us!
So far a very kind and humble member (Ali Waheed aka bigAli) has offered to lend his Shehzore pickup with fuel to transport goods to the affected area. Fihsak is at the moment camped at Tarujaba and his team is helping out in Tarujaba, Pabbi and Noshehra areas.
We need to act immediately and send whatever we can. So far janj has managed a few flour sacks and some containers of water.
The basic things they need:
- medications for the prevention of contagious diseases like cholera, dysentary,hepatitis and typhoid etc
- clothes
- water
- food (flour, rice, sugar, pulses etc)
- shelter (camps or temporary constructed domes)
We are aiming to send the first truck by tomorrow night.
