When a company makes a product it includes the cost to manufacture, engineer, sell, employees expenses, and much more. If the battery is in for 5000 and motor for 30k. That's just not it. Almost all EVs use AC motors. The battery is DC. So there exists a problem that is to convert DC to AC. That is why inverter is used. It converts DC from the battery to AC. Inverters in an EV are not cheap. IDK what is the case with Jolta. If they are using an AC motor then that's the reason for the cost. If they are going the cheap way to use a DC battery with a DC motor then its still an acceptable price for an E-bike in Pakistan.
Brother idk what system are they using. I am just giving a reason for the cost which might/might not be true based on the system used by Jolta. If someone has info about what they are using kindly share.

Yes man, I am currently working on a project myself that involves alternator to produce current. lol. It was in my mind so I wrote alternator instead of INVERTER.

I mentioned price for 3000w motor while jolta is using 1000 and 1500w motors only.

The battery used in this JE-70D is of bad quality(Chinese battery), it failed after use of 5 months only and I driven bike only 1750 Kilometers. I visited show room in Lahore and found 3 out of 5 installed batteries are spoiled. The new battery price told to me is 27,500 with ZERO warrantee.

So the question is what kind of economy we are talking about here i.e. 80 KM in Rs 30? if customer has to change battery after 5 months in 27,500 then it becomes about 80 KM in Rs 1500 !!!

And secondly its waste of money to spend about 30,000 after few months on this bike.

No I purchased new battery from Hall Road Lahore, price was 25000, old battery valued 9,000 I paid net 16,000 and using the bike. There is no warrantee of new battery however, as that is imported from Taiwan/China
