Got it from Metro in Islamabad - it's not Jolta. It was just standing on display - I tested it a bit and bought it. No delivery or waiting period. No registration or tax is required, although Excise and Tax department can register it and give a number plate if you want.
I have personally used it a bunch of times for >70 km round trips, accelerating slowly and not exceeding 40 km/h.
Its a bit slow on steep inclines, but manageable. It's not meant to break speed records.
It would suffice for school pick and drop IMO, but remember that the range is nearly halved with passengers. If the distance to the school is less than 15-20 km one way, then its perfect.
I wouldn't recommend getting a model with dry battery though - charging time is way too much. The ones with lithium ion battery are expensive, but charging time is maneagable. Also get a model with a 2000w or greater motor.
