JS Air Beech 1900C Crash

Geo and ARY news is mentioning about a small plane Cessena twin engine is crashed after 5 min of take off at 07:15am.

Intially it is mentioned that 19 pessengers 2 crew members were there in this plane who is flying by Capt Noman.

As per the ATC while take off the capt informed that engine no 2 is not working so he will return back to airport for emergency landing but not got chance to do so. It only climbed around 100 to 150 feet

12 pessengers were reported dead.

Does any one know registration of the crashed aircraft and crash location ?

As far as I know, JS Air has following two Beech 1900 aircraft in its fleet.

Beech 1900C - registration AP-BJC
Beech 1900C - registration AP-BJD

According to news channels:

• The aircraft took-off around 7:13AM Pakistan Time from Jinnah International Air Port (JIAP), Karachi.

• The aircraft was going to Bhit Shah for a routine flight. Oil fields are located in/near Bhit Shah.

• The aircraft experienced some technical fault with one of its engines.

• The aircraft was allowed to return to Jinnah International Air Port (JIAP), Karachi.

• The accident occurred around 7:15AM Pakistan Time.

• A total of 21 souls were aboard the aircraft:

2 x pilots.
17 x Passengers.
1 x Airport Sercurity Force (ASF) guard.
1 x JS Air aircraft technician.

• Unfortunately all 21 people aboard the aircraft have been confirmed dead by news sources.

• Black Box recovered from crash site.

Names of two pilots are Capt. Naeem and Capt. Nauman. Capt Naeem was also Chief Pilot of JS Air. Both pilots were highly experienced according to JS Air spokesman.

The aircraft is thought to have been carrying oil company employees to an oil field in Sindh province.
"The plane has been destroyed," Lt Col Alam, was quoted by Reuters news agency as saying.
"The dead bodies are burned beyond recognition. It could not be recognised whether they are men or women. We don't know nationalities."
The incident comes four months after an airliner crashed in stormy weather into the hills around the Pakistani capital Islamabad, killing 152 people.
Karachi is the capital of Sindh province. The city, with a population of about 18 million, is Pakistan's largest and the nation's financial centre.

i knew these planes were junk, but they say each is worth $2million ( lol )....
and they are 30 year old planes....

Age of planes doesnot matters a lot. What matter is how they are maintained

js planes are not well maintained.. personal experience

No one can say it was a maintenance issue or anything, until and unless investigation is done. Captain Noman is my best friend's brother. Namaz-E-Janaza of Late Captain Noman was after Namaz-E-Asar near his place at North Nazimabad.

engineers said that there was some problem in plane and told to the pilot but he still fly it

Punk I personally know Captain Noman Shamsi and his family. He was a great personality, but as usual in Pakistan Pilot will be blamed as he can't speak for himself now.
