I have not seen a village like this in my life. This was a very wonderful and unique experience. There were hundreds of cultivated fields over a vast stretch along the incline of the mountains. Beside every few fields, there was a small stone made storage house for grains and houses were in clusters near the trees on quite a few places throughout the area.
We asked the locals about the whereabouts of the place from where we could see Mashurbrum and they gave us the task of almost an hour walk towards the top of a small hill to see the peak. The climb was of only 15 min but remaining time was consumed to zigzag through hundreds of cultivated fields over slope of the mountains.
When i say hundreds then i mean it.
Starting the walk! You can notice the cultivation in steps. Khaplu valley is in the background.
