JVC sound system...advice plz

I've a JVC (KDSV-3000) Audio system (mp3 & Audio CD).
I've 2 Boston Speakers (150W) from a Mitsubishi Magna 2003. The sound is good but it is not uo to the par that i want it to be. On higher volumes the speakrs just don't stand it.
My JVC Audio Systems has an amplifier MOSFET 50Wx4.
What do u advice for me ? 4 speakers will improve the audio quality, volume & bass too.
how about JVC - 2 Speakers (250W) in the rear & 2 Speakers (200W) in the front doors...

Check the RMS wattage of your Boston Acoustic speakers. it will be written on the magnet.

The headunit gives 50x4 maximum power, but in RMS (that is continious power) it gives 18x4 at most. Meaning your speaker gets 18 watts to run most of the time.

So your speakers are basically underpowered.

Get an amplifier for your current speakers if you want to go for a low budget solution.

Take an amplifier. 2 channel amplifier ... for the watts of the amplifier ... check the book and see the wattage it gives at the rating "RMS Wattage 2 channel @ 4ohms" ... you need to match this with the wattage of your speakers.

Either you can calculate your power need yourself or tell me the speakers RMS wattage.

Anywho to calculate it yourself, you will need to make sure that the wattage of the amplifier for 2 channels + 18watt (from your headunit) will match the RMS wattage of your speakers.

Meaning IF your speakers can handle 70 watts RMS... then an amplifier which puts out 50watt RMS at 2Channels @ 4ohms will be perfect.

This will drasitcally improve the sound quality at higher levels.

yaar @altima_fan u live in UAE and u cant get good quality.. yaar suno first of all ahsan has helped u alot. rest u can find some good modifying shop they can help u out. but tell u wht do simple thing get two kenwood 718 with good amp and good head unit... that will be enough but if u want more sound then increase the quantity. but man i have been to a shop in dubai xactly infront of Lamcy plaza. they modify cars and i was just amazed to see the woofers and amps and all. tthey were awesome.....rest aapko jo behtar lage.....

Bro u go for JVC HX 6930 OR 6942 SPAEKERS THEY R THE BEST MODELS AND BUY A AMP FOR 2 CHANEL U CAN DRIVE 4 SPEAKER ON GOOD 2 CHANNEL AMP OR U CAN GO FOR 4 CHANNEL AMP IF U PUT 4 SPEAKER I MEAN 2 PAIRS.
JVC IS COOL DUDE I DONT KNOW THIS ACCOUSTIC I THINK ITS FROM CHINA SOME GUY LIED TO U ?OK HOW MUCH U PAID FOR THIS ACCOUSTIC ONE?

Well the JVC speaker models u mentioned are not available here in AbuDhabi UAE (JVC HX 6930 or HX 6942).

The ones available here are:

1) JVC HX 6956 - 6" x 9" 5-Way Speaker, Output 500W Max. Dhs. 550 (PICTURE 1)

2)JVC HX 6946 - 6" x 9" 4-Way Speaker, Output 360W Max. Dhs. 440 (PICTURE 2)

3)JVC HX 6846 - 6" x 8" 4-Way Speaker, Output 260W Max. Dhs. Dhs. 400 (PICTURE 3)

Please advice me now which ones are the best for me.
I have JVC KDSV-3000 - MOSFET 50Wx4. Which of the aboe speakers would run perfectly on my JVC audio system. In the front of the car I can put small speakers, the round ones not the oval ones. So I will need 2 small round speakers for front & 2 Cone/Oval shaped speakers the ones shown in the pic. Do i need an additional amplifier to drive the above speakers ??? Or is my current JVC audio system enuf to drive the new speakers??

i think u go for HX 6946 and yes the amp is ok to drive 1 pair of 6x9 pair and 1 pair 6" for front door.but i will advise u to put 2 pair of 6x9 of HX 6946 and ask your fitter to drive your front speakers from pree i mean by cd or casset player becoz they cant be drive from amp.u will have very good sound infact sorround sound.

So u mean to say that I purchase four 6946 speakers and fit them in the car ??
How In the front i can have the small 6" that u mentioned.
Just please clarify to me.

2 speakers (HX -6946) for the rear
2 speakers 6" (round) for the front

I dont have an amplifier. I think it is built-in my
JVC KDSV-3000 CD/mp3 player. So as such I don't have exteral amplifiers.

listen i want u to buy a 2 channel amp external amp and put 2 pairs(4 speakers) of 6x9 of JVC 6946 in the back which u will drive with external amp and the 6" speaker u will drive by your mp3 player builtn amp.becoz u cant drive 6 " speaker with external amp it will blow!!!

Well I follow u now.
But I need only 2 speakrs in the Rear of the car. I can accomodate only 2 large HX-6946 speakers in the Rear.

The front as u know is normal 6" speakers

The amplifier that I found is JVC 2-Channel Amplifier
with the following specs.

Model KS-AX3300
320 Watts Max. Output
Continuous power (RMS) of 65W X 2, into 4 ohms, 20Hz- 20kHz, at less than 1.0% THD

One last question. The External amplifier the one in the picture can it really make the difference ???

Why can't I drive 4 set of speakers with my CD/mp3 player's built-in amplifier??

Please clear it for me.
I m not that good in technical side of audio systems

listen bro !!if u want to install two speakers 6x9 and 6" 1 pair then u can drive it from builtn amp but still if u need good voice and clearity u must install external amp.
