kenwood is not getting off in the video u posted??

sir this is the reason why i kept telling you not to get this amp to run at 1ohm. many people have heard my different setups on the same amp. and it never cut out even once.

but it was all at 2ohms
never checked 1ohmls

qadirs (aqprime) his woofer cuts off with kenwood x11d @ 2ohms

conclusion :- kenwood does not make good amps. i wish u guys had taken me more seriously b4. it would had saved u alot of bucks.

ive learnt my lesson buddy:) how wt i need is a suggestion,ive finalised my decision for the magus 1500.1 ,have bought it already,do u think it will bang the 1522 the way it should be banged withtout tripping on 1ohm?

yaar kenwood`s restriction are much on mention on amps
like even if it says 2 ohms stable , means you should assume like 3,4 ohms stable
it dwont play much longer on exact 2 ohms load (@ full output snatching from it )
i used 9102 , the quality of that amp is like i never have it before
extreme sharp cutoff LPF , great subsonic , Best Knob control ever

why don`t you get some 1 ohms stable amplifier ,
and use 2 ohms load :you should have big margin on that
like solid audio class D 0.5 ohms stable
but recommended to use 1ohm or greater

when amplifier says 1500wrms @ 1 ohms
in reality , amplifier shouldn`t cross 1500wrms
cause the circuit board is capable to pass 1500wrms from its transistor definitely when you request to have more then its recommended power
it will get heat and trip

i expect , sound Magus can give 1200+ wrms
i.e taking power of 1kw , that amp still have easy task to give that much power
so you have type R 15
it can be over power till 1000Wrms
people says it can bear 1500 to 1600

I disagree. A 1500w RMS circuit should be able to carry a constant load of 1500w while it may also peak momentarily passing loads of 2000w or 3000w. The peak load and RMS load obviously depends on the rating of the circuit.

agreed n got ur point.i will not over power the sub as over exerting it will lessen its life which i dont want to do ,intend to keep this sub till it works good or till my bro hamza again pursues me for something better lol

magus is an ok amp. good bang for the buck. but its obviously not as good as ppl have made it .....
just pray tht u get a good piece.
i have two pieces which were faulty and now i am having a nightmare fixing the amps.
