i took off the left fog light cover thingi so filter gets direct cold air n added a cone filter n took off the heat shield,incase it rains i always have oem box filter in my trunk
i think my car needs more air n more fuel too,it looses power after seond gear on high revs,air fuel ratio needs to be richer,thinking to do that with the sensor i told u about,wt do u suggest?

Sorry Bro for late response! I am stuck in office work these days so can only manage very little time for other activities.

I think, removing the fog light cover will provide more air flow but isn't it looking odd with one fog light cover installed and other one missing? An idea from my side is you can made some customized fog light cover with some grill (jaali) type thing. In this case it will provide the air flow :).

I think you can inspect spark plugs to get an idea about current air fuel settings. This is one site showing different conditions of spark plugs Spark Plug Visual Inspection. I think you can try the sensor thing but do remember its original position and as you will be doing this for the first time, you should be careful. you can turn the sensor by a very small amount and then note if there is any effect on the engine.

actually i didnt wana mess up the original bumper so i didnt add the mesh,it does look odd but when u look closely u can c the filter n thats where u can figure out the purpose,giving direct cold air helped me alot on high speeds,acceelration was way lot better n so was the milage,got 168 in first quarter of the tank,which is pretty awesome as compared to 90-95 i used to get on the stock assembly

Well done Bro! I think a lot of cold air can flow as the filter is right in front of the car and there is no obstacle. The only thing you must take care of is to keep it safe from water. Otherwise great work and thinking.

thankz bro,the intake is safe from water,because the pipe goes into the stock box,even if it does suck it water it wil go to the stock box which is deep,the pipe from throttle body to the intake box is higher than the base of the pipe,this is worst case senario though

bro trust me it does make a lot of difference ,qami air ki nai ha,qami cold air ki ha,in short ram the car suckz hot air,ive got the fog light panel in the trunk,in case it starts to rain its a 2min job to put it back on

you are right that there is much less chance for the water to get in but air will contain a lot more moisture. Anyways it doesn't rain in Lahore on daily basis so i think it will not create problem.

Did you try to adjust the mixture settings through that sensor?
