today i was messing with the intake kit and forgot to out the sensor plug back on,the car started on ignition,which idsnt do without the sensor :S but this time sensor wires wernt connected

Sure, today couldn't find time to read this. You know office stuff and then after coming back, have to go to Moti Bazar near Badshahi Masjid to collect iPod for younger brother :). Will try to read it at the weekend and also do some research on it. Meanwhile we can also take the expert opinion of senior members on pakwheels also.

:o You told me same thing also happened before also. I still can't think of the reason how the engine is starting without the sensor. I think you can check the same thing on XLi (If you haven't done it already). If it is only happening in GLi, then we have to consult some expert.

I think the power (85 hp) is attained in ideal conditions. Normally the power is less than this quoted power. and about port polishing, I will read the material but I think the person doing this should be highly skilled as the engine head is going to be modified.
