we are plaining this august k2 base camp. Will really apricate if someone can guide on below questions. We are planning to go by our self, not with any group/company.
1. Shortest safe route and if possible, someone share google map.
2. Any special tent requirement, have to be special snow resistance tent.
3. Where can get porters, village name? and someone has porter contact number.
4. Average porter rate.
5. Possible to hire porter with donkeys / mules, and possible on this track.
6. Any special requirement for harness / ropes.
7. Any water crossing.
8. Any villages or settlement after Askhola.
9. Security concerns.
10. Drinking water available throughout the track.
