I'm currently overhauling my car's engine with a mechanic named Irshad Bhai at Jameel Autos. When we opened up the engine, we found pitting on the cylinder head.
Now I'm unsure what to do. I could get the current head repaired, but Irshad Bhai says that fix won't last long. The other option is to get a replacement cylinder head from a junkyard ("kabli" head), but a good one is very expensive—around 150,000. The cheaper ones available aren't in good condition.
