Who says you can not take your car to Shogran or Saif-ul-Malok? You can... will you be able to bring back you car in one piece? God knows.

The point that people are trying to get across to you is that you 'may' screw up you car while trying to go there, no-one said you will not reach there or come back, you will but your cars shocks, excels etc 'may' be screwed big time. The road to Naran is pretty smooth, what I will recommend is that you park your car at Kewai and hire a jeep to Shogran, if you love your car. I went last year to Shogran via jeep in July and the road was so messed up, muddy and dangerous.

If you wish to try, no body is stopping you, you came to the forum for advice, people are giving that, if you don't like advice's, don't ask questions

I was thinking for Shugran trip this july on my corolla, but after reading and viewing the thread

I have to consider it again, may be forget Shugran and tkae Naran in plan. What you guys suggest?

Why don't you go and pack your bags for Shogran and plan your trip on paper? Why are you lurking on the forum when you are not looking for advice? Even after posting that you need advice and then when someone advises you, you say you don't need it, why are you wasting time of others? to increase your post count perhaps? sajid the road to shogran is in maintenance phase, and hotel owners of shogran will make it available in start or mid june, so u can go by car, this is what i think, in few dfays u will get more updates, as season is on!!

Thanks for update, hope they will do it. Summer vacation in Karachi will start from July so we have time.

i just gave u advice with what i know and heard..not to offend u..
Im not saying u are an insane kid of 18 yo.. just giving u a word of caution..i read a thread recently in which guys went there on cultus and they got stuck on the way
two times real bad and helped by other guys coming down..
they also managed to reach there but but but they took risk right???
they also said that going there was a mistake themselves..
and probox or 1.8l or anything a 2wd is a 2wd after all. wen u r stuck and u rev it..u most likely end up digging holes and making smoke!!

that was only a word of caution and just a suggestion..

a word of caution.. this kiwai to shogran road is under construction do make sure what is the situation before u venture there.. and also this road is quite narrow and v steep, ist gear is used quite often so even if ur car is 1.5l, it would be automatic trans and big sized car.. so always b realistic and careful

Car can go to Shogran .... so i was realistic

The latest update from Naran is that vehicles are now moving till Jalkhad plus upto 5 km more towards Lulusar only but access to Lulusar Lake is completely blocked as of yesterday!

few of my friends were on shogran and naran trip, in last few days, bohat thand hai wahan, sai al malook par saturday ko snow falling hui hai, shogran is freezing cold.........

While seeing the response of this thread and being there last year with terrible rush..it seems all the ppl will be visiting naran this year..

pakwheel travel gurus should guide ppl to newer places to visit, also creating more awareness..thus reducing rapid commercialization of diminishing picnic spots..
