Your honeymoon trip reminded me of of mine own when I visited Swat in September 2005 for my honeymoon. We had some very good pictures in this forest and spend quite some time there.....

nice to know u also went there on honeymoon.... back then it was was much better i know coz i also went in 2007 and it was amazing atmosphere.
now climate has changed a little.....

but the forest is grown due to operationa nd lack of visiters in several years

Dear Asif,
After googling it's confirmed that White Palace is the BEST option to stay. Now I need the best hotel or cottage to stay at Malam Jaba and Kalam, you stayed at green hotel, but after roaming around did you come across some more better thing? kindly do let me know.
Secondly will this White palace barain on rate or the have fix tariff?
I will be travelling with family and kids in June.

in malam jaba only a few hotels were there rest were either destroyed or being used by army now.....

FalakSher was the best place to stay in my opinion...

white palace wala bht muskil hai bargain karay wahan bht kaom ati hai season may rates kafi high hongi

sir ji honda city bhe chalay jay ge easily if not fully loaded. agar 4 banday huay tu lagay ge i thinnk. which model is it ?????

just carry stepny and normal maintanace gear for car.
u need all standard camping equipemt nothing special for kalam

yes there r many lakes in Kalam. some are easily assisible by jeep and short treks like Mahudand Lake and Kandol lake and Dhamaka lake.
many others are reachable by treks. examples are Godur Lake, Izmis lake, Spinkhor lake etc.....

rucksac
trekking stick....

Can any one guide me route to naran (I guess manse rah) from sawat. On way back we would like to go naran, the only route I know is to go back to Islamabad and then to naran.
On map I seen a rout but would like to know can we use that by car.

yes u can return from swat and take left turn at abbotabad morh on GT road...... there is no other road link......
