Quite disheartening! 
Lack of any meaningful actions by law enforcement officials have emboldened these criminals to engage in these activities at their will.
I understand that Karachi is a very large metropolis but the problems it is facing are not unique at all. We need intelligent and effective leadership in place which is honest in their efforts to help protect the citizens. Resources are limited but not scarce. Its just that these resources must be utilized effectively and without any special privileges.
