In peak season same hotels charge 10-12k per night..

i went to babusar top last year. road was very good. But this year it was closed due to snow..Hopefully it will be opened till eid...

You can dowload offline maps on google map but only for a selected region.

There are several patches due to glacial activity but its not a thing to worry about...

Its perfectly safe to travel at nights in Punjab, KPK and GB, am not aware of Baluchistan though. However, yes, it is better to cross Sindh boarder before dusk. The last town of Sindh is Ubaro, once you cross that there is nothing to worry about.

These NOCs are kind of "Bhatta tools" and Sindh Police use them to perfection. I have never tried to get for any of my travel. Once I encountered a situation where Police stopped me. Though they ask for huge amount but eventually they settle for Rs. 100 - 200.

You can easily cross Ubaro within 11-12 hours with decent stops and if you don't stop much you can make it in even less time. I guess there is no point in worrying about this, just remember to leave early.

On maps - My personal experience with google maps and its navigation has been very very good. I guess google has more minute details compared to others apps. I use Ufone and one Supercard (with 1GB net apart from other things) was sufficient for my 10 day tour to Swat valley last summer.

@ Saad2000: Yaar I usually travell from Karachi to Islamabad and vice versa on my car, and i do opt the same that is why i am also recommending this to you... any how you can also spend your night at Rahim Yar Khan as well but i dont know any good hotels over there..

@haroon3377 @z.u.m.a Bro. Sygic took way too long to download Pakistan Map, where as Maps.me is working fine little slow without data connection/ wifi but working .
i'm sure Sygic will work good too, i will try it again today as some features are extra in sygic like heads up display, i don't know if it works or not but will try .
