DAY 11: Gupis Valley to Chilas

This day started with light showers, but that was enough to scare us considering the road on which we traveled to reach here. Quickly finished breakfast and loaded all of our stuff in the trunk. Just when I was getting ready to leave, got a flat tire losing pressure pressure slowly..
There was no time to unload all the stuff from trunk and replace the wheel in the rain, I pumped the tire again and left..
We may have found a puncture wala in Gupis, but the weather was unpredictable and we couldn't know for sure if these light showers could turn into heavy rain.
Remember the 45 degrees slope I was afraid of Yesterday? On the way back, our car stopped midway on the inclined slope.. We had no option but to go back in reverse on a narrow dirt track and come again on full throttle.. We crossed it on our second try. Still it was scary to reverse on that track..
At some points where incoming car had to cross, I was on the edge and my wife kept pointing out that this wheel is already on the edge, don't turn left anymore :S
The only thing we enjoyed on our way back was, Cherry that we bought from Gahkuch, and trout fish. Pumped that tire again at the stop where we ate trout fish.
Stopped at Gilgit to get that tire fix and it took him almost an hour.. But it was worth the time as that puncture never leaked again..
We reached Chilas at 6:30pm, I guess. It was an strange feeling.. going back home leaving these mountains..
