DAY 12: Chilas to Mansehra
Woke up early this morning just to leave early to get passed the painful part of today's journey.. i.e. Shatiyal to Dasu.
But we knew we won't get to eat Mujahid bakery's delicious puri parathaas with Malayi and Andaa again, so we took our time to enjoy our breakfast at Chilas.
Left Chilas at around 7:30 and reached Summer naala early in the morning.. Refilled our bottles, ofcourse, and continued our journey nonstop till we reach Dasu. Had lunch at some dhaba in Dasu, which was just average. Started journey again..
After crossing Dasu, we thought why don't we travel a little more and instead of staying at Besham again, stay at Mansehra. So we continued our journey even though we reached Besham after 4pm.
At two places, we found road blocks due to recent landslides and FWO was working to clear the road.. Overall it delayed us an hour may be..
We reached Mansehra at 9pm. Took more time than we thought.. It was an exhausting journey.. we almost traveled 12 hours with very little stopovers.
Due to hot weather, we decided we will stay at Murree/Bhurban instead of Rawalpindi. We also had to visit our relative in Rawalpindi..
