DAY 14: Bhurban to Bahawalpur
We left Bhurban at around 6am and reached Rawalpindi at 8 I guess. But couldn't get to our relative's home until 9am. There was some trouble in getting to their home.
Anyway, we left Rawalpindi at 12pm.. We knew that we won't be able to reach Bahawalpur in day time, still we tried our best and could only reach Multan before dark.
Just before sunset, something happened.. Near Khanewal bypass, there was a bike rider that tried to stop us. First, he started signaling that our headlights are on.. then he signaled us to stop.. then he tried to block our way.. I even tried to scare him by showing him I could hit him hard from the side. It didn't scare him I guess.. So we stopped at near Shell pump. He stopped as well and started yelling something like "you almost hit me" "don't you know how to drive" "you would have killed me.. etc" Staff at Shell pump made him leave and after waiting for a minute or two, we left as well. Fortunately, he did not follow us..
May be he saw my phone hanging on a steering wheel for navigation and wanted to snatch it..
We reached Bahawalpur at around 9:30pm. Weather was so hot even in the night, it felt like daytime.
Tomorrow we will be reaching home...
