Salam dear pwheelers... as the caption says....after month of planning finally started the long journey from karachi to kashmir... by road on 30th may 2015... along with my wife, 2 sons and my mother,

Ride: pajero 4d55 3 doors,

First day travelling from karachi to bahawalpur...started 6:30 in the morning, reached bahawalpur at 10:30pm...had a sound sleep at motel paradise inn... 2nd day.. from bahawalpur to islamabad, started at 10am reached isb at 10:30pm... night stayed at isb....

3rd day 1st june 15, started the journey from isb to kel.. at 9:30am, reached kel at 10pm...had one stop for 3o min.. before athmaqam.. today is 3rd June 2015, will move to taobat... safar from karachi was amazing...just had a teeka from sind police of 1500..at mitheari..they declared my ride illegal and passed the judgment tht the chassy of my ride has no number mentioned anywhere.. but sadqa deyna tha...

from sharda to kel .. track is ok... but during rainy season it becomes muddy and slippery.. ,, i have seen few cars going up to kel,, . but from kel to taobat,.. is completely a jeep track.... few steep inclines with twist and turns,, in this season is a heaven for 4 x4 offroaders.. I have done from kel to taobat (dry track with few mudd parts and steep incline ) in 3 hours.. and when i was coming back from taobat ,, it was raining and hell muddy and slippery.. it took me 4 hours.. to make it to kel.. i enjoyed the drive....

Learnt alot as to how to engage 4x4 in certain conditions.. and my advise to the ppl taking their 4x4 to this track.. is .. if there is mudd.. then keep on driving in the grooves .. i mean keep the tyres in side the grooves made in the mudd...
