my journey through out punjab and MZD was excellent and peacefull.. never bothered by police... any where but sind... on the way up they said there is no number on your ride's chassy.. and demanded 5000.. and then they ended up in 1500 only.. i showed them every doc i had, but they are decoits.. so had to give.,. and on the way back i was stopped at gothki ,,and after every doc checked i was asked to produce Civic centre letter... i hv never evr heard abt such a doc.. they were in plain back kameez shalwar,, and only 3.. in a police mobile.. i was told that i wud be fined 7000 for not having that letter.. but we will let u go in 2500.. not a penny less.. as i was with the family.. so had to throw the money to them.. it happed with my bro's brother in law too last month.. at the same spot..
you are ma sha allah lucky that u hvnt faced these dakoos,..
while i was going to lahore there were excise police at jhelam toll plaza ,, they asked me for the book ,, in less then a min they checked the book and asked me to continue the journey,..
There are many travelers i believe who face such situation while traveling thru sind..
ironically we dont have any cell to report such incidence happening with ppl....
I came back on 12th,, after spending a day in isb and 4 days in lahore..
